Thursday Nights, July 31st & August 7th, 2025 (6pm to 9:30pm) - FATHER & SON(S) - BASIC KNIFE MAKING
This class will be held at our Daphne Location at 25421 Hwy 181, Unit 106, Daphne, Alabama, 36526.
This great (2) Night class will actively participate in making your own everyday carry knife! We will be using a high-quality piece of high-carbon steel. You will start by designing your own style blade, grinding to size, heat treat, apply the wood scales, and leave with your very own blade. You will leave with a fantastic introduction and exposure to one of the most popular stock removal knife-making processes performed by most professional knife makers. This class does utilize help from the instructor as needed.
This class is intended for Fathers & Son(s). The Fathers must be either Active Duty, Veteran, or Law Enforcement. This class is primarily provided through grant funding.
Each participant will make their own blade. Please sign up for the total number of class participants. For example, if the class is for just one father and a son, please sign up for a total of 2. If the class is being attended by 1 father and 2 sons, please sign up for a total of 3.
Also, please note that a signed liability waiver will be required to take this class. Waivers will be distributed and signed at the beginning of class. A copy for preliminary review is located under the FAQ section of this webpage.
