Wednesday Nights - January 29th - February 19th, 2025 (6pm to 9:30pm) - BASIC FORGED BLADE & LEATHER SHEATH
This Knife-Making Class is perfect for beginners and will run for (4) Wednesday Nights in a row. This class is perfect for Beginners with no experience or for someone who has been dabbling in making Knives. Everyone will leave this class with a great foundation and confidence to begin making their own Knives. You will learn basic forging skills, and basic knife design, gain an understanding of and perform a basic heat treatment process, and learn to grind, sharpen, and apply a wood scale handle. The last night will be making a leather sheath for your knife!
Also, please note, that a signed liability waiver will be required to take this class. Waivers will be distributed and signed at the beginning of class. A copy for preliminary review is located under the FAQ section of this webpage.
Each class begins with a meal and conversation from around 6pm to 6:30pm. Then from around 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, we will spend time forging your own knives!
Lastly, if you are not a Veteran, Active Duty, Law Enforcement, or First Responder, do not sign up for this class.
